I was born in Chicago, Illinois, but I have lived in Dallas, Texas for most of my life. I am currently a junior in high-school that does well in my science courses and I enjoy how the science can relate to Healthcare. Hence, why I decided to study Anesthesiology in the Independent Study Mentor ship Program. Outside of school I have had many noteworthy experiences that Include being accepted into the STEMprep program which has allowed me to perform pancreatic cancer research at Thomas Jefferson University Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center and present that research project at the University of Pennsylvania in both 2017 and 2018 summers. Currently, I have been accepted back into the program and will perform research at the University of Washington at Seattle for the 2019 summer.
